On Mimi · A field note
When not eating pancakes…
The unofficial CV. Twelve years of product design, and roughly the same number of years quietly getting good at things that grow, bake, or bloom.

Portrait · Nº 000
“Most of my creativity doesn't stay in the office — it ends up in terrariums, on the wheel, in cake batter, and tucked into container gardens.”
Below is a sampling of what I make off the clock. The case studies are up top whenever you want them.

Portfolio · Yard work
The front yard, reworked
Before · During · After
A full-season rebuild of the front beds — stripping tired turf, re-cutting the borders, and layering in boxwood structure and perennials along the brick walk.

Bare beds
Thin foundation beds and a tired lawn — shovel and hose out, ready to start over.

Reworking the beds
Turf stripped, beds re-cut and amended, and new plants staged in their pots before going in the ground.

Grown in
A full season later — boxwood structure, layered perennials, and mulched borders framing the brick walk.

Front elevation
The finished beds flanking the brick steps, seen from the street on a misty morning.

Foundation border
Garden phlox and petunias spilling over clipped boxwood against the brick.

Stepping stones
Flagstones threading butterfly bush and heuchera through the side bed.

Pollinator visit
A carpenter bee working the pale-blue amsonia — the payoff for planting for pollinators.

A few seasons of the front-yard beds, brick paths, and the odd arrangement brought back inside — an ongoing, unofficial catalogue of the container gardens and borders.
